"Khalifa bin Zayed for humanitarian actions" Holding a session "Purposeful"

Abu Dhabi, October 6/WAM/The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work organized a session “Charitable Work” within the series of Emirates Experts Program, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance humanitarian work and develop Emirati competencies in various fields.
The session focuses on ways to enhance the impact of humanitarian aid and development projects implemented by the Foundation inside and outside the country.
His Excellency Mohammed Al -Khoury, Director General of the Foundation, stressed that the directives of the wise leadership represent a fixed approach in the march of the UAE based on extending a helping hand and providing assistance to the affected countries and peoples around the world, indicating that the UAE has established its position at the top of the donor countries globally, thanks to its continuous humanitarian and development initiatives.
He said, “We are proud of the UAE that our aid reaches all parts of the world, where our country holds the first place globally in providing external aid, and in the institution we focus in particular on the sectors of vocational education and education, and health care through building hospitals and clinics and providing equipment and medicines, as well as relief projects, such as the Al -Faris Al -Shahhin initiative in Gaza that aims to provide urgent humanitarian support for the siblings there.”
He added that the session “purposeful charitable work” dealt with ways to enhance job opportunities in the recruitment sector, and discuss the vocational education project implemented by the Foundation outside the country in cooperation with a number of educational councils such as the Council of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, and the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Council in Kenya, along with Sheikh Zayed schools, “may God rest his soul” in both Togo, Mali and Chad.
He pointed out that the session also reviewed a new project aimed at qualifying citizens and training them in the field of car maintenance to enable them to establish their own projects with support and financing from the institution, in addition to the medical scholarship program that allows citizens to study medical and nursing specialties, hospital management and research in the finest international universities.
His Excellency concluded by saying, “We are proud of our distinguished children who have proven their competence and were able to pass admission tests in international universities, as the number of scholarship students within the program reached about 47 male and female students, representing a honorable model for ambitious Emirati youth.”
