A balanced diet protects you from breast cancer

Dr. Nevin Bashir, professor of nutrition and organic chemistry, confirmed that breast cancer prevention cannot be linked to one specific herb, but rather is based on following a balanced diet rich in antioxidants, in addition to stopping smoking, practicing regular physical activity, and maintaining a healthy weight.
She added that some herbs and spices may play a helpful role in reducing the risk of cancer, such as basil, which is rich in flavonoids, thyme, which contains antioxidant compounds, rosemary, which contains carnosol, and mint, which contains the compound perillyl, which contributes to inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, in addition to supporting digestion and alleviating nausea, as well as parsley, which is rich in the compound. Apigenin is effective in this field.
Dr. Nevin stressed that including these herbs and spices in the daily diet enhances general health, but it is not a treatment or a sole means of prevention, but rather part of an integrated and healthy lifestyle. (my lady)
