" Emirates Space" It launches its innovative digital platform during… "GITEX Global 2025"

Abu Dhabi, 9 October / WAM / The Emirates Space Agency is launching its digital platform for its services, in a strategic step towards zeroing out government bureaucracy and promoting digital transformation, on the sidelines of its participation in the “GITEX Global 2025” exhibition, the largest technical and pioneering event in the world, which is being held from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
His Excellency Engineer Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director General of the Emirates Space Agency, stressed that the launch of the digital platform represents an important milestone in the process of smart transformation, noting that it was designed to be a unified portal that puts space services within the reach of various categories of customers, including investors, entrepreneurs, and emerging companies, thus enhancing the UAE’s position as a global space center.
He said that the agency is keen to support national strategies, most notably the “Zero Government Bureaucracy” initiative, by adopting innovative digital solutions that contribute to accelerating procedures and reducing time and effort, which reflects positively on the national space economy system and stimulates innovation and investment in this vital sector.
He explained that the digital platform embodies the vision of the UAE government to eliminate paper transactions and reduce traditional procedures, by adopting an integrated digital system that allows for accelerating the issuance of space licenses and permits, facilitating the customer’s journey and following it up electronically, in addition to providing a digital environment that supports investment and innovation through an interactive interface and customized services that make it easier for entrepreneurs and emerging companies to launch their projects within a regulatory system. Flexible and motivated.
The platform allows customers to obtain space licenses easily through four steps, including: registering using the digital ID (UAEPASS), filling out the digital form, reviewing the application by the agency’s team, issuing the license in digital form, and notifying the customer directly.
During the trial launch phase, the UAE Space Agency granted the first digital license through the new system to Space 42, which confirmed that the application experience was smooth and easy to use, and enabled the team to complete the application in record time.
During its participation in GITEX Global 2025, the agency will present its most prominent projects and future initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of the national space sector, in addition to providing a direct interactive experience of the digital platform and smart services that support the digital transformation path in the sector. The platform is a strategic lever to consolidate the UAE’s position as a leading destination in commercial and scientific space activities, and to build a knowledge economy based on innovation and advanced science, in line with the goals of the “UAE Centenary 2071.”
Through its official website, it also provides the possibility of starting space projects and benefiting from the digital resources and guidance services it provides to support innovation and development of the national space sector.
