Oracle enhances its investments in cloud services in the UAE

Dubai, October 13 / WAM / Yassin Al-Bayouli, Vice President of Business Applications in the Gulf Region at Oracle, confirmed that the company continues to strengthen its investments in the UAE market, through an advanced network of data centers and private cloud services, to support government and private institutions and enable them to digitally transform quickly and safely.
He told the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of the activities of the first day of GITEX Global 2025, held in Dubai, that we currently manage major data centers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in cooperation with large companies such as Emirates Etisalat, and we are working to meet the needs of government and private agencies, to ensure that the data remains within the country and enjoys the highest standards of cybersecurity.
He pointed to the importance of the “private cloud,” explaining that the main reason for its establishment is to provide complete local data security and ensure high speed in providing digital services to companies and ministries, which contributes to enhancing trust between all parties in the digital work environment.
He added that the private cloud contributes to enabling various entities to benefit from artificial intelligence in their internal applications, not only in their technical systems, but also in improving their services and daily operations.
Regarding the GITEX Global 2025 events, he explained that Oracle expects to sign a number of important deals with companies from various sectors, including travel and finance, stressing that the event represents an ideal platform to launch new partnerships and expand the scope of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in the region.
He pointed to the company’s future expansion plans in the Emirates and the Gulf region, stressing that the upcoming projects will focus on data centers specialized in artificial intelligence, to ensure the provision of advanced cloud solutions available to customers locally, with full compliance with security and data protection standards.
