Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi visits the Sharjah Government Pavilion in "GITEX 2025"

Sharjah, October 13, 2025 – Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, visited today the Sharjah Government Pavilion participating in the activities of the “GITEX World Exhibition 2025”, with the participation of 20 government agencies under the slogan “Human-Centered Technical Integration”, highlighting the emirate’s distinguished digital journey and its humanitarian vision for the future, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi listened to an explanation about the latest innovative digital experiences provided by the participating entities, and the most prominent technical innovations and projects presented by government agencies with the aim of enhancing digital integration in the Emirate of Sharjah, which contributes to improving government services, improving the quality of life in the emirate, and achieving its vision of building a sustainable, human-centered digital future.
The Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah learned about the themes of the participation of the Sharjah Government Pavilion in the exhibition, which are represented in four integrated systems, which are: digital experiences, environmental sustainability, smart cities, and our humanity. He also listened to an explanation about the proactive solutions developed that reflect the integration between government agencies and rely on the use of artificial intelligence and data integration. Renewing the features of government services within a framework that combines efficiency, speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and future vision, with the aim of meeting the needs of individuals, society and institutions, and enhancing the quality of life.
Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi watched the activities of the “Sharjah Digital Hackathon”, which was launched by the Sharjah Digital Department in partnership with the Quarter Qarn Center for Science and Technology and the Sharjah Youth Council. It aims to support the government innovation system and enhance the emirate’s role in building smart and sustainable cities, develop the capabilities of youth and government cadres in Sharjah, and motivate them to innovate intelligence-based solutions. The Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah was briefed on the “Digital Experiences” system, during which the Sharjah Digital Department reviewed the “Sharjah Digital Assistant” project. The platform aims to provide accurate and reliable information about the real estate sector in the emirate, and improve the experience of customers by providing services that take into account their needs, as well as enhancing the accuracy of real estate data and providing a comprehensive overview of the real estate market. The head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah was introduced to the “Nabni” platform, which is a unified platform to connect municipalities that works to simplify construction procedures, through artificial intelligence techniques, which contributes to providing smart and comprehensive solutions that improve the experience of customers at various stages of construction. The platform includes a set of integrated service packages, which include contractor and consultant classification services, building permit services, building control services, and maintenance services. and demolition, in addition to other engineering permit services.
Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi watched the “Virtual Assistant for Sharjah Government Employees” project, which aims to enable Sharjah Government employees to adopt artificial intelligence capabilities within their work environment. To enrich their experience and save their time, the unified virtual assistant also links various government agencies for the purpose of providing automated response to employee inquiries and granting permissions to users.
As part of its participation in the GITEX Global Exhibition 2025, the Sharjah Government Pavilion witnesses the participation of 20 government agencies displaying their innovative services and the latest technologies used in improving the customer experience.
