The American model of Palestinian origin, Gigi Hadid, published a special recording for Victoria’s Secret in which she spoke about her journey in the field of modeling and the harsh criticism she was subjected to at a stage in her life.

Gigi was unable to hold back her tears while talking about the harsh criticism that befell her body, during her first appearance on the Victoria’s Secret fashion show ten years ago, and she cried bitterly because of her feelings and what she felt during that period.

Gigi said: “I was very happy that day, but the world was cruel to me and to many other girls. I still recall pictures from that day and remember it with tears mixed with pride, because despite the bullying and all the challenges, I proved my position in the world of fashion.”

During her speech, Hadid recalled memories of her beginnings in the world of fashion, stressing that she tried several times and did not succeed, before she was chosen to participate in her first show in 2015. She said with emotion as she recalled the moment of her acceptance: “You can imagine what I felt when I was chosen. I was happy and proud of that little version of me who dreamed of this day.”
