The Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah issues a decision regarding linking data sources and the Ras Al Khaimah Statistics Center
Ras Al Khaimah, 14 October / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Resolution No. (15) of 2025 regarding linking data sources and the Ras Al Khaimah Statistics Center, in a step aimed at enhancing statistical integration and developing the data system in the emirate.
The decision stipulates linking databases of governmental and semi-governmental agencies and other data sources to the center, allowing the building of an integrated and accurate statistical database that supports planning and sustainable development, and enables the implementation of a census based on records in accordance with international best practices and recommendations issued by the United Nations.
This decision comes in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, in digital transformation, enhancing the efficiency of data-based government work, and building a knowledge society that supports decision-making based on statistics and scientific analysis.
The decision also guarantees the protection and confidentiality of data and the application of the highest cybersecurity standards in coordination with the eGovernment Authority, which enhances the confidence of government agencies and society in the official data system and confirms commitment to the principle of good governance in the emirate.
