"Jetex" On its second day… Artificial intelligence and computing capabilities dominate the growth of the global digital economy

DUBAI, 14th October, 2025 (WAM) – Today’s events at GITEX Global 2025 began with a virtual dialogue rich in ideas on “Societies Born with Artificial Intelligence” between Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, and Peng Xiao, CEO of G42 Group.
The activities of the second day of GITEX also witnessed discussions from several influential leaders from “Microsoft”, “Cisco”, “Oracle”, the data centers “Khazna”, “Cerebras”, “Tamm” – Department of Government Empowerment, “Brissite”, “Core42”, “Inception”, “AIQ”, and the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence, where they presented high-impact insights on… Structural, economic and cultural foundations of the intelligence economy.

She said: With quantum engineering, we can carry out many operations in parallel at the same moment, which allows innovators to find solutions today that would have taken years to accomplish on a traditional computer.
From a financial perspective to the discussions on the platform, Paul L. Balandian, CEO and General Partner at O’Leary Ventures – US founded by investor and TV personality Kevin O’Leary, addresses the debate over sustainability and the race to build hyper-mega data centres.
In the creative field, Elijah Seaton, CEO of SoundCloud (United States), addressed the topic “The Future of Music in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Ethics, Justice and Opportunity,” calling for a balance between creativity and transparency.
On the exhibition floor, enterprise innovations continued to attract crowds, as Google Cloud presented live demonstrations of enhanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and sustainable cloud architectures for the Middle East, accelerating innovation and transformation in the region.

At GITEX Global 2025, HPE unveiled new generation solutions including Morpheus Enterprise and VME for intelligent hybrid cloud automation, along with Cray supercomputing capabilities and the Sovereign AI Factory platform, a modular solution that helps organizations and governments deploy and scale trusted, locally governed AI architectures.
Developers gathered at JetBrains to experience powerful tools that provide complete control over enterprise-level AI usage, data privacy and productivity, with options such as AI coding assistants and AI agents.
Mangobot, a Dubai-based company that specializes in robotics, displayed its “Wolf Pack” in industrial and military grades alongside humanoid robots. Its A2 humanoid robot can learn complex skills such as surgical procedures, redefining digital healthcare and robotics.
Micropolis Robotics unveiled a self-driving vehicle designated for police and public safety operations, deployable in dangerous areas, and equipped with advanced sensors and monitoring supported by artificial intelligence to detect abnormal behavior, collect evidence, and report incidents in real time.
The second day witnessed a series of high-level partnership signings to enhance the system’s growth across the public and private sectors.
Microsoft and Dubai Municipality signed a memorandum of cooperation on cloud computing and cybersecurity strategy.
Deloitte and IBM announced a partnership to accelerate the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence solutions in the region, with a strategic focus on artificial intelligence, financial operations and cybersecurity.
Among many public-private partnerships, First Abu Dhabi Bank also signed a cooperation with the Emirates Media Council.
With the pavilions full and registration points crowded, GITEX Global 2025 continues to set records in attendance and impact, with the third day focusing on breakthroughs in digital health and life sciences.
