Does milk harm your beauty? Signs on your face may reveal the truth

Although milk has always been associated with health and strong bones, the French magazine “Elle” revealed another, less radiant side of this drink, stressing that drinking too much milk may leave undesirable effects on the skin.

According to skin experts surveyed by the magazine, specific signs may appear on the face indicating that the body is receiving excessive amounts of dairy products, including:
– Swelling of the upper eyelids.
– Puffiness under the eyes.
– Dark circles around.
– Small pimples in the chin area.

Doctors attribute this to the fact that milk contains natural hormones and growth factors that raise the level of androgens in the body, which leads to increased oil secretion, clogged pores, and the appearance of acne, especially in those with oily or sensitive skin.

But experts do not call for a complete cessation of milk, but rather for moderation and balance, and suggest plant-based alternatives such as almond, oat or soy milk, which provide protein and fiber without the hormones found in animal milk.

The magazine also advises introducing probiotics into the diet to improve gut health, and adopting a gentle skin care routine that includes soothing ingredients such as aloe vera, chamomile, and niacinamide.

Experts confirm that true beauty begins from within, and that the skin is the true mirror of the body’s nutritional balance. So, if you notice a change in your facial features after increasing your dairy consumption, it may be time to try alternatives and see the difference.
