The Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces and the accompanying delegation listened to a brief presentation on the vision of And its integrated strategy in combating terrorism across its four fields: intellectual, media, combating the financing of terrorism, and military, in addition to the training programs and qualitative initiatives that the coalition provides aimed at empowering national cadres in member states.
Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Mughidi confirmed that the Islamic coalition, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, Chairman The Council of Defense Ministers of the Islamic Coalition countries continues to work to enhance collective action and mutual coordination among member states, in order to achieve its goals in combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, drying up its intellectual and financial sources, and enhancing regional and international security.
Fighting terrorism
Lieutenant General, Pilot Jassim bin Muhammad Al-Mannai, praised the active role played by the coalition in supporting international efforts to combat terrorism through its programs. And its strategic initiatives that it implements for the benefit of member states, valuing the professional methodology and comprehensive approach adopted by the coalition in building capabilities and unifying efforts.
At the conclusion of the visit, the team and the accompanying delegation toured the coalition’s headquarters and its specialized centers, during which they were briefed on the latest technologies and practices adopted in data analysis and combating extremism intellectually and medially.
The meeting confirms the pivotal role played by the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism as a strategic platform to unify the efforts of member states in confronting extremist ideology, promoting the values of moderation and moderation, and consolidating the concept of sustainable collective security.
