10 competitions in the fourth week of the UAE Show Jumping League

Abu Dhabi, October 17 / WAM / The Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation announced the organization of the fourth week of the “Emirates Longines” Show Jumping League, with 10 competitions being held.
The Federation confirmed in a statement today that the competitions will be held on the fields of the Sultan Bin Zayed Grand Hall at the Boudhib Equestrian Academy, over the course of the 18th and 19th of October, under the sponsorship of Longines, and with the participation of jumping riders from equestrian clubs and centres.
He explained that the first day’s runs will begin tomorrow with the ideal time competition for the category of young jumping horses aged 4 years, over hurdles whose height ranges between (80 – 90) cm, and for the novice riders category, over hurdles whose height ranges between (90 – 100) cm.
The Federation added that the competitions are continuing with the specifications of the two stages for designing a track for the category of young jumping horses, 5 years old, over 105 cm hurdles, and at the same height for the young riders category, and for the advanced beginner category (3) over 115 cm hurdles, and for young jumping horses, 6 years old, over 120 cm hurdles.
He noted that the two-stage competition, which is open to participation, will also be held tomorrow for riders from the first-level categories, youth, juniors, and second-level riders, on the 125 cm hurdles, while the second day after tomorrow will witness the holding of 5 competitions with the height of the first day’s hurdles for each category, with their specifications changed to become one round.
