The billiards team wins its second medal in the Arab Championship in El Alamein

Cairo, October 18 / WAM / The UAE billiards team won its second bronze medal in the combined Arab billiards and snooker championship, currently being held in the city of El Alamein in Egypt, with the participation of 15 Arab teams.
The second medal came in the 10-ball billiard doubles competition, after the duo, Mahmoud Sharif and Musaab Al-Dhanhani, qualified for the semi-finals, after their victory over the Kuwaiti doubles with a score of 8-7, before losing to the Egyptian doubles with a score of 5-9, to obtain third place and the bronze medal.
The team won its first medal through player Salem Al Nuaimi, who won bronze in the 9-ball competition for juniors.
In the snooker competitions, player Mohamed Shehab continued his brilliance and qualified for the semi-finals in the “Masters” category, after achieving 4 consecutive victories over Omani Abdullah Al Raisi 3-0, Egyptian Mohamed Noir 3-0, and his compatriot Mohamed Sharif 3-0, then over Ayman Gad with a score of 4-2.
Player Khaled Al Kamali also achieved two consecutive victories in the “Snooker 6 Ball” competitions, defeating Libyan Abdel Rahman Haddad 5-3, then his compatriot Anas Al Thabet 5-0, continuing his journey steadily in the tournament.
