Folk arts in "Al Dhafra Dates" It embodies the cultural and artistic richness of the Emirates
Al Dhafra, 18 October / WAM / Al Dhafra Dates Festival and Auction, in its fourth session, celebrates the authentic Emirati heritage, by allocating a daily space for popular arts groups that present various performances of traditional performing arts, in a scene that combines authenticity and diversity, and reflects the integration between the heritage and entertainment dimension of the festival.
Several bands affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Society for Folk Arts and Theater are participating in the festival, including: Al Otaiba Al Ayyala Band, Suqur Al Emirates Military Band, Al Shabab Al Ayyala Band, Al Tarab Al Ayyala Band, Dhabyan Al Ayyala Band, Bin Noman Military Band, and Al Shamsi Military Band, which spread out from four in the afternoon until ten in the evening, among the corners of the festival to liven up its atmosphere.
Folk arts form a major part of the Emirati national identity system, as they reflect the values and principles on which the people of society grew up.
