Baniyas surpassed Baniyas by four clean goals…the lead is in the grip of “Al-Zaeem”

Al Ain team regained the top spot in the ADNOC Professional Football League standings from its rival Al Wahda, after its well-deserved victory over Baniyas with four unanswered goals, in the match that brought them together yesterday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the sixth round of the competition, raising its score to 16 points, while Baniyas remained in last place without points, noting that “Al Annabi” had temporarily taken the lead after defeating Al Bataeh 3-1 at the opening of the round.

Al-Zaeem presented a strong and balanced performance from the start of the match, as Moroccan Houcine Rahimi opened the scoring in the fifth minute, before his brother Sofiane Rahimi increased the lead with the second goal in the 37th minute, then Paraguayan Alejandro Kaku added the third goal in the 2+45 minute, after he had made the first and second goals, so Al Ain practically decided the match in the first half with a beautiful hat-trick, while he added Substitute Lapa Kodjo scored the fourth goal in the 74th minute.

The number of spectators in attendance amounted to approximately 3,500 spectators, including about 130 fans who accompanied the Baniyas team to “Dar Al Zein”. It was noteworthy that families attended in large numbers, as an entire stadium was allocated for them, noting that the match witnessed the distribution of a number of prizes, most notably a Jetour T2 car, in addition to 12 other prizes distributed among women’s bags, gold vouchers, and travel tickets.
