The Speaker of the Arab Parliament congratulates the President of the Senate
Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, congratulated Counselor Essam El-Din Farid on the occasion of his election as President of the Senate, during the opening session of the first session of the second legislative term of the Senate, which was held yesterday, Saturday.
Al Yamahi expressed his sincere His congratulations and best wishes to Counselor Essam Farid for success in performing his duties and for the new members of the Council, stressing his confidence that the Egyptian Senate will continue to carry out its legislative and oversight role efficiently and competently, in a way that embodies the high position of the Council in supporting the Egyptian state’s march towards further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament also expressed his His aspiration to strengthen parliamentary cooperation between the Arab Parliament and the Egyptian Senate, in order to serve common Arab issues and achieve the interests of the Arab nation and its peoples.
