The UAE Parliamentary Division participates in a conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva

The Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council, headed by Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Emirati Parliamentary Division Group in the Inter-Parliamentary Union, participated in the work of the 39th extraordinary conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, which was held today, “Sunday,” in the Swiss city of Geneva, on the sidelines of the work of the 151st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, with the participation of heads of Arab parliaments and heads of delegations.

During the conference, the Arab position regarding current developments in the Palestinian issue and condemnation of violations against the Palestinian people were discussed.

The conference issued a final statement in which it stressed the need to strengthen unified Arab positions in the face of regional and international challenges.

Dr. Marwan Al Muhairi and Ahmed Khoury, members of the Federal National Council, and Afra Al Basti, Assistant Secretary-General for Parliamentary Communication, participated in the conference.
