"Meeting with an expert" A series of sessions starting from the El Gouna Festival. Find out its details

El Gouna Film Festival launched the “Meet the Experts” program. Within the Cine Gouna Initiative for Emerging Talents, which was designed to bridge the distances between young cinematic talents and professional experts in the film industry, locally, Arably and internationally.
The program comes to embody the festival’s deep commitment to nourishing creative roots and supporting the new generation of filmmakers with knowledge and experience. And direct interaction with the professional world.
Participants in the Cine Gouna Emerging Talent Program will have the opportunity to sit face-to-face with an elite group of professionals in various fields, including directing, acting, editing, and music composition, in a series of live meetings and interactive sessions that allow learning, asking questions, and engaging in real discussions that are not reduced to Lectures, rather, are based on attendance, interaction, and personal and professional experience.

For her part, Marianne Khoury, the festival’s artistic director, commented: “Cinema goes beyond the boundaries of the craft; It is an act of communication and exchange. Meet an expert sessions provide a rare space for listening, questioning, and inspiration. We hope that these meetings will spark new ideas and projects that enrich Arab and international cinema.”

Over the past two sessions, expert meetings have clearly demonstrated this fact.
