A Belarusian delegation is inspired by the UAE government’s experiences in artificial intelligence and digital transformation

Dubai, October 21 / WAM / A government delegation from the Republic of Belarus visited the UAE to learn about the best experiences and business models developed by the UAE government, as part of the initiatives of the Government Knowledge Exchange Office in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, to enhance knowledge partnerships with governments around the world, and within the framework of government cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The visit aimed to learn about the best practices, innovative solutions, projects and programs developed by the UAE government in various fields of work, which contributed to consolidating the UAE’s position as a global destination in the field of developing government work, accelerating the pace of digital transformation, and adopting artificial intelligence solutions in various sectors.
The delegation of the Government of the Republic of Belarus included Her Excellency Yulia Shapkina, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information, Sergey Rudnev, First Deputy Director General and Head of the Information Protection Department at the Analysis and Information Center of the Presidency of the Republic, Andrey Filippovich, Head of the Information Protection Department at the Analysis and Information Center, Siarhiy Belikov, Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Development, Natalia Koshina, Deputy Director of the Digital Transformation Agency, and Maria Kalantai, Advisor. First, and Natalia Kopeytenko, Head of the Information Technology Department of the State Customs Committee.
The delegation’s visit included a series of meetings and field tours, during which opportunities for expanding cooperation in the areas of digital transformation, developing capabilities in future education and digital skills, and enhancing government performance and services were discussed.
The two sides also discussed potential cooperation in the areas of innovation, digital legislation, and simplifying government procedures.
The visit program included knowledge tours to a number of leading government and private agencies in the country, including government accelerators and the Abu Dhabi 42 Academy, where the delegation learned about the innovative models that the UAE is applying in the government work system, and met Emirati experts specialized in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital governance.
This visit comes within the efforts of the UAE government to enhance cooperation in the areas of developing government work, exchanging knowledge experiences, and supporting the process of digital transformation, which contributes to building more efficient and innovative governments.
