Alba’s CEO congratulates 20 Bahraini employees for their academic achievement

Aluminum Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the largest single-site aluminum smelter in the world, has graduated the second batch of its employees participating in the bachelor’s degree completion program in engineering, in cooperation with the Bahrain Technical College (Bahrain Polytechnic). The number of graduates in this batch reached 20 Bahraini employees who successfully completed bachelor’s degree programs in electrical and mechanical engineering, through which they acquired advanced technical skills and knowledge, in addition to obtaining an academic degree that qualifies them to continue their professional development in the company.

The graduation ceremony was organized on October 20, 2025 at the Bahrain National Theater, in the presence of Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, and members of the company’s executive management, along with senior officials from Bahrain Polytechnic.

On this occasion, Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, commented:

The number of Alba employees who have graduated from Bachelor of Engineering degree programs – which are offered in collaboration with leading local and international educational institutions – has exceeded 90 over the past three years, confirming the company’s firm commitment to developing national talent.
