المملكة: Jeddah hosts the Hajj Conference and Exhibition with the participation of 137 countries and the Humanizing Emotions Hackathon

Getting ready Jeddah City to host the activities of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in its fifth edition, organized by Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the The Hajj and Umrah systemin line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The conference program includes more than (80) sessions and (60) specialized workshops with the participation of an elite group of academics, researchers, and representatives of pilgrims’ affairs offices and diplomatic missions, along with more than (2,400) trainees from various countries of the world. The accompanying exhibition will also be held on an area exceeding (52) thousand square meters with the participation of more than (260) exhibitors from (137) countries, to display the latest technologies, products and services related to the Hajj and Umrah system.

Humanizing Emotions

Within the framework of the conference activities, the second edition of the Hackathon is being organized. "Humanize feelings" In cooperation between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Umm Al-Qura University, as a platform for generating creative ideas and providing engineering, design and technical solutions that contribute to developing the environment of the Holy Sites and improving the experience of the guests of God.

The hackathon, which is considered one of the most prominent events of the conference this year, focuses on three main tracks that include sustainable engineering solutions, smart technologies that support the pilgrim’s experience, Designing gifts and souvenirs that express the sanctity of the place and immortalize the Hajj and Umrah experience in a creative and humane spirit, in addition to organizing specialized workshops in the fields of "Smart solutions for crowd management" and"Innovation in souvenir and visual experiences"

A global platform

The conference is a global platform that brings together experts, specialists, and representatives of countries and organizations to review the latest solutions and innovations in the Hajj system, and to build influential partnerships between government agencies and the private and non-profit sectors, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing services for the pilgrims and improving their experience.

And among those It is expected that the conference this year will witness the launch of specific initiatives and the signing of a number of new agreements, which will enhance the integration between technology, urbanism and people, and embody the Kingdom’s pioneering role in serving Islam and Muslims from Mecca to the world.
