Al-Ain tops its Gulf group with its exciting victory over Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait

The Al Ain team is at the top of the first group of the Gulf Champions League for Club Football with six points (full marks), following its exciting victory away from home with a clean goal at the expense of its host, Al Qadisiyah of Kuwait, in the meeting that brought together the two teams this evening at Mohammed Al Hamad Stadium in Kuwait.

Al-Zaeem continued his journey in the tournament with his reserve team, led by Italian coach Matteo Lombardo, as the same players succeeded in achieving victory in the opening round against Bahraini Sitra with a score of 4-1 at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

The “Purple” club owes credit to its player Youssef Salman, who scored the only goal of the match in the 68th minute after a wonderful tactical statement that put him in front of the goal. He did not hesitate to put it into the net, translating his team’s clear advantage throughout the two halves.
