The Professional Squash Association fines Mustafa Assal 6,500 pounds sterling

The Association of Squash Professionals announced that it fined world number one Mustafa Assal an amount of 6,500 pounds sterling for violating the code of conduct in his match against Peruvian Diego Elias in the final of the Egyptian Open.

 

The association stated in its statement that Assal was accused of dangerous play and unsportsmanlike behavior in the tournament, and Assal accepted the decision and did not He files an appeal.

 

Assal was crowned the Egyptian Open International Squash Championship, which was held last September.

 

It is noteworthy that Assal is currently participating in the US Open Squash Championship and succeeded in qualifying for the quarter-finals.
