Mohamed Salah is in a new crisis with Liverpool.. Deleting his picture and the club’s name from “X”

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah sparked a wave of controversy inside and outside Liverpool, after his profile picture and cover photo on the “X” platform were suddenly changed, in addition to deleting the phrase “Liverpool player” from his CV, following his late participation in the team’s great 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Mohamed Salah entered as a substitute in the 74th minute, but he showed signs of tension, especially after he refused to pass the ball to his colleague Florian Wirtz, who was directly in front of the goal, and chose to shoot himself from a difficult angle, which sparked criticism from the fans who considered the behavior selfish.

Despite Liverpool’s success in achieving a wide victory, the changes in Mohamed Salah’s account on social media were considered by many media outlets and fans as a “message” to the club, or at least an indication of the player’s dissatisfaction with his current position within the formation.

It is noteworthy that Salah (33 years old) is experiencing a relatively difficult period of performance compared to his previous seasons, as he has scored only a few goals and contributions since the beginning of the season, which has weakened his position as an “untouchable man” within the team.
