The Prime Minister is following up with the Ministers of Higher Education and Finance on a number of joint cooperation files
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting today, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, and officials of the two ministries. To follow up on a number of joint cooperation files between the two ministries.
The Prime Minister stressed the state’s support for concerted efforts from various parties to advance plans to advance the higher education and scientific research system nationally, through diligent work to develop educational facilities and increase their number and spread, coupled with efforts to raise the efficiency of academic and research performance, and adherence to international quality standards, to improve the quality of the system’s outputs from Distinguished graduates.
During the meeting, Dr. Ayman Ashour presented the most prominent aspects of cooperation between the Ministries of Higher Education and Finance, especially in the file of supporting Egyptian students sent to study abroad, and ensuring the speedy receipt of their dues, in addition to facilitating the regular disbursement of the dues of those assigned to work in Egyptian cultural offices abroad, by reducing the duration of the procedures. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research also discussed the proposed aspects of cooperation between the Ministries of Higher Education and Finance, with the aim of supporting and enhancing the capabilities, capabilities and equipment of educational facilities. The Minister explained that the number of Egyptian universities of various types has increased from 50 universities in 2014 to approximately 135 universities in 2025, with patterns of progress of all required educational systems, while achieving advanced steps towards achieving Egyptian universities achieve advanced positions in international rankings.
