Hanan Mutawa: I will play a role "Hatshepsut"..And this is my position on artificial intelligence

Actress Hanan Mutawa revealed her willingness to present the character of the Pharaonic Queen Hatshepsut in a new theatrical work, stressing that the project is still in the preparation stage and the official contract has not yet been concluded, despite the completion of the script.
Hanan said during her guest appearance on the program “With You, Mona El Shazly”: “I am actually offered the role of Hatshepsut, and we are working on it.” The play Hatshepsut, and I hope it will be shown at the Egyptian National Theater, but there is still no contract between the author, the director, and me…and indeed there is a complete text now, but I would have liked the news not to be published before everything was officially done, to some extent Professor Anwar Abdel Mughith announced the project.
Motawa expressed her great pride in the cultural movement that Egypt is currently witnessing, saying: "I am very proud that our great country is paying attention and trying to enlighten and re-present its civilization to the world. The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum is a huge event for me, just like the procession of mummies. I felt proud neither after it nor before… We present our history in a contemporary and disciplined manner, and by enlightening the world who was Egyptian and who is the current Egyptian."
In another context, the artist Hanan revealed Mutawa expressed her feelings about using artificial intelligence techniques to produce clips that show deceased artists as if they were coming back to life, confirming that she received a double shock within one week. She began by faking her photos on the cover of a prestigious magazine, then with her sudden appearance in a video depicting her with her father, the late artist Karam Mutawa, without her knowledge.
And she added: "Before I talked about the video, something happened before it. A week later, I was going to look at the cover of a big magazine, and after I sent them the pictures, I was surprised with a picture that was not me, wearing clothes that I had never worn in my life, meaning they completely bypassed me, and did a complete Photoshop on my body and my face.”
She added that she felt at that time that her privacy had been violated: “I told them, ‘This is not me, and this is not the honor of a profession.. This is theft. You stole me and stole a moment.’” From me.” She explained that after a few days, she was surprised by the circulation of a video using artificial intelligence techniques showing her in an acting scene with her late father.
She continued: “I have no doubt that the boy who made the video had good intentions, and he loved great artists, but when I saw myself with my father, I felt that the pain was reincarnated.. Not all people have the ability to see the family they lost. With technology like this, it might hurt me a lot, it might make me collapse.”
She confirmed her refusal to use artificial intelligence without prior permission: “What happened to me made me think…well, what if he puts me in work that is against my beliefs or against my ideas? There must be a law prohibiting the use of artists’ images or voices except with written approval, in order to protect ourselves from any violation.
