Announcing the winners of the Cine Gouna Awards in its eighth edition

CineGouna to support film production, the El Gouna Film Festival platform for supporting Arab film projects in the development and post-production stages, announced the full list of winners of the prizes for the eighth edition of the program, the total prizes of which exceeded 300,000 US dollars, represented by financial and service support prizes provided by the El Gouna Festival and its sponsors.
Where the Cine Gouna jury to support film production, consisting of the Spanish producer Esiona Pasola, the Egyptian director, producer and writer Ahmed Amer, and the Moroccan producer Lamia Chraibi, after consultation with the sponsoring companies, distributed 29 valuable prizes to 17 projects out of 19 that competed on this platform.
Amr Mansi, co-founder and executive director of the El Gouna Film Festival, expressed his happiness with the great diversity of awards, and said: “During the year we proudly observed the repeated successes achieved by the films graduating from Cine Gouna to support film production, Which is reflected in the interest of filmmakers and donors on the platform, which has become a main station for the Arab film industry.”
While Ahmed Shawky, President of Cine Gouna to support film production, spoke about the eighth edition, saying: “During the days of Cine Gouna to support film production, the makers of the 19 participating projects held 114 individual meetings with the participating international companies, institutions and festivals. At the festival, they benefited from a training program tailored to the needs of each project, which makes everyone benefit, whether they win platform awards or not.
