5,000 participants from 75 countries at the World Gifted and Gifted Conference in Dubai

5,000 experts, researchers and academics from more than 75 countries participated in the conclusion of the third international conference of the World Center for the Gifted, which was organized by the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences and concluded its work yesterday, which reflects its status as a global platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences.

Over the course of four days, the conference reviewed the latest research and applications in the field of gifted education in the age of artificial intelligence.

The conference witnessed a review of pioneering experiences in integrating smart technologies into education, and a discussion of their impact on human creativity and the development of exceptional minds.

A press release issued by the conference yesterday explained that the interactive sessions included qualitative interventions and rich questions from the audience, which embodied the spirit of scientific cooperation and constructive dialogue between participants from various specializations.

The closing sessions presented the most prominent findings of the discussions that dealt with specialized topics about integrating artificial intelligence technologies into educational curricula, enhancing creativity in digital environments, the mental health of gifted students in smart education contexts, and neurological applications in giftedness education, in addition to reviewing research experiences from leading international universities and institutions.

The participants stressed that the future of gifted education depends on the integration of technology with human thought and individual creativity, calling for supporting teachers with training and modern technical tools, to enable them to design stimulating learning environments adapted to students’ exceptional abilities.

The discussions recommended strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and talent centers, to develop cognitive frameworks that contribute to improving the quality of education and scientific research in this field.

In his speech at the conclusion of the event, Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, praised the success of the conference in achieving its scientific and cognitive goals, and said that the in-depth dialogues witnessed in its sessions emphasized the importance of building renewed educational systems that keep pace with the development of artificial intelligence and respond to the requirements of the future.

He added that the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences will continue to lead initiatives that combine scientific research and educational practice to develop tools for teaching the gifted and promote academic excellence in the region and the world.

For his part, Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, confirmed that the conference represented a starting point towards a new phase of joint work in the field of gifted education, noting that the discussions and recommendations that came out of the conference, especially related to enhancing gifted education with artificial intelligence, will be translated into research programs and projects within the plans of the International Center for the Gifted during the next phase.

The World Center for the Gifted (WGC) is one of the distinguished initiatives of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, and aims to support best practices in the field of education and care for the gifted, talent development, and the promotion of distinguished performance in various countries.
