"Umm Al Quwain Room" Exploring economic cooperation with Peru
Umm Al Quwain, 24 October / WAM / His Excellency Khalfan Ahmed Misfer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Alberto Alejandro Farge, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the country, discussed the prospects for economic and investment cooperation between the two sides and the strengthening of trade relations between the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and the Republic of Peru.
During the meeting, which was held at the Chamber’s headquarters, the two sides discussed ways to develop economic relations and exchange experiences and investment opportunities, in addition to reviewing promising areas in the sectors of trade, industry, tourism and services, which contributes to strengthening communication between the business community and supporting future joint initiatives.
They stressed their keenness to expand the areas of economic and investment cooperation, and to continue coordination between the institutions concerned between them, in a way that enhances the sustainable economic partnership and opens new horizons for cooperation in future development and investment projects.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Yousef Tahnoun, Vice President of the Chamber, Her Excellency Aisha Rashid Laytim, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen’s Council, His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Ali, Director-General of the Chamber, along with Chamber members Eid Allah bin Hamed, Abdullah Al-Hassawi, and Mrs. Carla Naomi, Deputy Head of Mission to the Republic of Peru.
