South Korea takes strict security measures by imposing a no-fly zone around the summit "Your father"

The South Korean authorities announced on Friday their intention to impose a no-fly zone around the headquarters of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport clarified – according to what the Korean Broadcasting Corporation “KBS” reported: – These restrictions will be imposed as of 12 am next Monday, “local time in the country.” Above the summit headquarters, starting at 12 am next Wednesday over Gimhae International Airport, and it will remain in effect until 11:59 pm next Sunday.

The ministry added that during this period, all aircraft – including drones and light aircraft – will be prohibited from flying over the restricted area except for scheduled passenger flights and emergency response missions. And disaster relief operations, and military or police flights that have emergency missions.

It is worth noting that the “APEC” summit will bring together 21 countries, representing 61% of the global gross domestic product, and 50% of global trade, to discuss the present and future of the global trading system and ways to achieve common prosperity.
