"InfraX"and"Huawei" They conclude a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of modernizing utility networks and supporting digital growth

Dubai, 26 October / WAM / InfraX, a subsidiary of DEWA Digital, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei, the global leader in information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices.

This partnership aims to accelerate the pace of modernization of Dubai’s utility networks, enhance the efficiency of energy distribution, and support the UAE’s vision for a sustainable digital future.

The agreement was signed by Rashid Al Ahmadi, Chief Operating Officer of InfraX, and Alex Zhang, General Manager of Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group in the UAE.

As a holder of an Internet of Things license that enables it to market and operate Internet of Things networks and services commercially within the UAE, InfraX continues its leadership in enabling secure and flexible communication systems that support the country’s vital infrastructure.

For its part, Huawei provides its global expertise in 5G, artificial intelligence, and smart grid solutions, in line with InfraX’s mission to provide innovation and reliability to DEWA and the rest of the energy system.

Under this partnership, InfraX and Huawei will explore opportunities to develop mission-critical network solutions that provide highly reliable, secure and responsive communications across DEWA’s facility operations.
