The Emirates Media Forum looks forward to the future of the media scene at its tenth session on Tuesday

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, the “Emirati Media Forum” will be held in its tenth edition the day after tomorrow, Tuesday.

The forum will be held at the Museum of the Future in Dubai, organized by the Dubai Press Club, with the participation of Emirati media icons and leaders, digital platform officials, and the most prominent influencers and content makers.

The forum will include honoring the Emirati print, audio, visual and digital media, as a gesture of appreciation for the efforts made by the national media to keep pace with the comprehensive development renaissance witnessed by the country.

The forum, which celebrates a decade of achievement, continues its role in discussing the most prominent issues related to the media scene in the UAE, and anticipating the future of this vital sector in light of regional and international transformations, in a way that enhances its global competitiveness and keeps pace with the country’s advanced position on the regional and international arenas.

The tenth session addresses a number of main topics, including the impact of regional and international developments on the Emirati media, the role of the national media in confronting rumors and misleading news, enhancing confidence, and empowering youth and content makers to convey a realistic picture of the country and its achievements, in addition to reviewing efforts to keep pace with digital transformation and employing modern tools in creating influential and effective content.

The forum emphasizes the importance of developing the professional environment for the national media, and enabling its cadres to anticipate the future and embrace innovation, in a way that reflects the spirit of the UAE and its pioneering vision in building a media capable of keeping pace with changes and formulating positive, influential discourse locally and globally.
