Ammar bin Humaid: Government excellence is a sustainable approach that embodies Ajman’s vision of development and innovation

Ajman, 28 October / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed that government excellence in the UAE is a sustainable approach and a renewed work culture led by national competencies, indicating that innovation in institutional work is the best way to achieve the Ajman 2030 vision towards a more efficient, flexible and humane government.

This came during his patronage and attendance at the “Government Practices Meeting” forum, organized by the Ajman Excellence Program at the Ajman Hotel, under the slogan “Governments Create Beauty,” with the participation of an elite group of leaders, experts and officials from inside and outside the country.

His Highness said that excellence is not an event that is held, but rather a system that is built, indicating that government excellence is a sustainable approach that embodies Ajman’s vision of development and leadership.

His Highness added that the Ajman government is an environment in which everyone learns, and seeks to empower people as a focus of government development and make an impact on society, noting that teamwork and a culture of continuous learning represent the basis of success in every institution that seeks continuous improvement.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman said that this meeting is where creativity meets experience, renews the spirit of excellence, and is a platform for exchanging best practices in various fields.

The forum was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department, Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Member of the Executive Council, Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Digital Department, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chief of the Ajman Ruler’s Court, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamid, Chairman National Media Office, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Council To the media, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Head of the Ajman Port and Customs Department, and a number of department directors and senior officials.

In the opening session, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, delivered the keynote speech entitled “Youth and Policy Making…The UAE’s Model of Government Leadership,” stressing that youth represent the energy of innovation in government work and a major driver for sustaining excellence.

His Excellency said that the forum embodies the philosophy of government work in the UAE and reflects its commitment to creativity in every policy and initiative, noting that it is a station for exchanging experiences and highlighting national trends in sustainability and quality and achieving the UAE Vision 2031 to build a prosperous future for future generations.

His Excellency added that the Emirati experience has proven that building distinguished governments begins with human empowerment, especially the youth, noting that the Federal Youth Foundation works to unleash the energies of youth, hone their skills, and embrace their talents, as they are the nation’s most valuable resources.

The forum also witnessed a dialogue session entitled “The Media is a Mirror that Reflects the Beauty of Governments,” in which His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Media Council, spoke.

His Excellency stressed that the true power of the media lies in its impact, not in its numbers and indicators, pointing out that reaching the hearts of people is the highest form of excellence in government work.
He explained that institutional innovation is an industry of beauty, and that successful institutions are those that transform service into experience, and innovation into a continuous culture that adds experience and builds confidence in the future.

His Excellency added that honest media is the government’s partner in enlightening society and formulating common awareness, stressing that the government’s role today is not limited to delivering information, but rather extends to directing thought and consolidating national values ​​in a time when concepts of communication and society are changing.
He concluded by saying that beauty is created by integrating roles and unifying visions among government partners, and that trust in the work team is what always produces positive results, and that the media is a message of love and belonging, conveys and inspires, and believes in beauty as a value in government work.

The first day of the forum included sessions that addressed the topics of institutional excellence, government innovation, sustainability, and pioneering environmental experiences, with the participation of local, federal, and outside the country institutions, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program, the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government, the European Foundation for Quality Management, and the Office of the Secretariat of the Ministerial Committee for the Environment from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The “Saudi Green Initiative” session also reviewed the best common environmental practices in the region. A number of Ajman government employees presented a session entitled “Ideas that inspire and achievements that bear fruit.”

The forum will continue its work tomorrow with a number of sessions addressing government leadership and its impact on quality of life, institutional flexibility and agility, innovation in the government sector, and sustainability from a government perspective.
