40 Italian companies showcase their latest technologies "ADIPEC 2025"

Abu Dhabi, October 29, 2025 – Italy is participating in the ADIPEC 2025 exhibition, which will be held at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi from November 3 to 6, with a pavilion organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in cooperation with the Anima Confindustria Mechanical Association, the Italian Society for Industrial Plant Engineering (ANIMP), the FEDERTEC Federation, the ANIE Federation, and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. It includes 40 companies showcasing the latest technologies in the fields of oil, gas and energy transformation.

The increased participation reflects Italy’s growing role as a major partner in the UAE and Gulf energy sector. TDM Trade Data Monitor data shows that its exports of oil and gas technologies to the UAE amounted to 292.2 million euros in 2024, an increase of 45.9% compared to 2023, when it amounted to “200.2 million euros.”

Today, Italy represents 8.33% of the UAE’s total imports of oil and gas equipment, bringing its market share to 9.8% during the first half of 2025.

The UAE remains one of Italy’s most important trading partners in the Gulf region, with continued demand for high-quality, efficient and sustainable Italian solutions.

Data from the Anima Confindustria association indicate Italy’s strong performance in the global oil and gas sector. Its total exports reached 17.65 billion euros in 2024, an increase of 6.6% compared to the previous year.

The UAE is one of the most prominent Gulf markets contributing to this growth, which strengthens Italy’s position within the industrial supply chains in the region.

The Italian pavilion at ADIPEC 2025 will highlight Italian engineering and industrial excellence, by showcasing advanced solutions across the energy sector, from piping systems, valves and compressors to liquefied natural gas infrastructure and automation technologies.

His Excellency Lorenzo Vanara, Ambassador of Italy to the country, said that the ADIPEC exhibition is a pivotal platform that enhances cooperation between the two countries in the global energy scene, pointing to the common focus on sustainability, innovation and industrial excellence that brings the two countries closer.

He added that the significant rise in Italian exports and the record participation of Italian companies in ADIPEC 2025 is clear evidence of a partnership based on trust, technology and a shared vision for the future of energy.

For his part, Valerio Soldani, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE, said that the 45.9% increase in Italian exports of oil and gas equipment to the UAE reflects the remarkable momentum in bilateral trade and Italy’s growing role in the region’s energy transition, noting that the Italian pavilion at ADIPEC 2025 not only displays excellence in Italian engineering and manufacturing, but also confirms a long-term commitment to supporting the UAE’s vision for a diversified, low-emission energy future, by presenting technologies that combine innovation and efficiency. And sustainability.

In turn, Pietro Almici, President of the Anima Confindustria Mechanical Association, said that Italian participation in the 2025 edition of ADIPEC is a record number of 40 exhibitors, noting that the exhibition has become a leading platform in the fields of oil, gas and energy transformation, starting with hydrogen opportunities, and showcasing Italian innovations and solutions that keep pace with sustainable energy requirements.

Giulio Iocchi, Vice President of the ANI Association for Internationalization and Small and Medium Enterprises, said that ADIPEC is one of the most prominent global platforms for dialogue and cooperation in the energy sector.
