The Young Professionals Forum discusses empowering future leaders in municipal work

Dubai, 29 October / WAM / The Asia-Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors Forum 2025, hosted by Expo City Dubai, witnessed the holding of youth sessions and the Young Professionals Forum, which aims to empower young leaders in municipal work and enhance their role in developing sustainable and innovative cities.

During the forum, participants Aisha Al Hashemi, International Relations Executive, Dubai Chamber, Sheikha Al Sheikh, Director of Buildings and Facilities Department at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, Abdullah Al Shamsi, Data Science Analyst at the Dubai Digital Authority, Shannon Wong, Business Analyst at Wave International, and Lina Angelis, a Master’s student at the University of Melbourne, discussed during the forum a number of main topics, including digital transformation and artificial intelligence, urban innovation, and building resilient and sustainable cities, alongside an elite group of young professionals from various cities.
