During the workshop, the efforts of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in promoting water sustainability were reviewed, through the national programs and initiatives it implements that directly support achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s vision.

In a related field context, the office launched the “Cleaning Rabigh Beach” initiative, which was implemented in cooperation with the Academy. Energy.

The initiative witnessed active participation from volunteers, academy students and office employees, as the work focused on collecting waste and plastic waste, and then sorting them according to approved environmental standards.

The initiative was not limited to cleaning only, but was accompanied by providing direct awareness messages to beachgoers, centered on the importance of maintaining clean coastlines and the shared responsibility in reducing marine pollution.

For his part, the director of the Ministry’s office in Rabigh, Engineer Radh, explained Al-Qarzi said that these activities fall within the office’s ongoing efforts to spread the culture of environmental volunteerism and promote the principles of social responsibility towards protecting the environment and natural resources.

Al-Qarzi stressed that water and the environment represent two basic pillars to ensure sustainable development, stressing that preserving them is a shared national and societal responsibility that requires concerted efforts.

At the conclusion of the activities, thanks and appreciation were given to the Energy Academy for its cooperation and active participation, and the spirit of initiative and positive interaction were also praised by Volunteers.
