The used boat exhibition starts tomorrow in Dubai

Dubai, 30 October / WAM / The eleventh session of the “Dubai Used Boat Exhibition” will begin tomorrow, Friday, at the Dubai Creek Marina, which will continue until November 2, with the participation of more than 50 brands of companies and boat and yacht dealers, in addition to marine supplies dealers.
More than 50 yachts and boats with a total value exceeding 200 million dirhams will be on display.
The exhibition is considered one of the most prominent specialized events in the region, as it brings together investors and those interested in the boat and yacht sector, and provides the opportunity to view a variety of used boats that meet different categories, as part of the efforts aimed at supporting the growth of the recreational navigation sector in the country.
The event is expected to attract more than five thousand visitors from inside and outside the country, in light of the growth witnessed by the maritime sector in the UAE, as the country accounts for about 50% of the market size of boat and yacht marinas in the Arabian Gulf region and the Middle East.
According to data from the Dubai Maritime Authority, affiliated with the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, the number of marine vessels registered in Dubai during the year 2024 reached about 7,738 marine vessels, an increase of 14.4% compared to 2023.
The exhibition showcases the latest technologies in the fields of recreational navigation and environmentally friendly systems, in addition to the participation of a number of experts and consultants specialized in the maritime sector.
The event also provides accompanying services, including financing, insurance and maintenance, with the aim of supporting the development of the boating industry and enhancing the sustainability of the maritime sector in the Emirate of Dubai.
