Our billiards team player qualifies for the next round in the World Ten-Ball Championship

Doha, 31 October / WAM / Mahmoud Sharif, player of the UAE national billiards team, qualified for the next round of the World Ten-Ball Championship, currently being held in the Qatari capital, Doha, after defeating Hsieh Chia-Chen from Chinese Taipei with a score of “9-5”, as part of the fourth round of the tournament, which witnesses the participation of an elite group of the most prominent stars of the game in the world, and will continue until next November 2.
With this victory, Sherif secured his place on the list of the best 64 players in the tournament, to face the German Joshua Feller, the 2025 European Open champion, in the next round in a strong confrontation that determines the qualifiers to the round of 32, which includes the elite of the world’s ranked players.
In the same context, our national team player Khaled Al Zarouni bid farewell to the tournament after losing to Japanese player Naoyuki Aoi with a score of 2-9.
