The Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives a copy of the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the country
ABU DHABI, 4th November, 2018 (WAM) – His Excellency Omar Obaid Al-Hussan Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of His Excellency Dr. Deepak Mittal, the new Ambassador of the Republic of India to the UAE.
His Excellency welcomed the new ambassador and wished him success in performing his duties, stressing the UAE’s keenness to strengthen and develop cooperation relations with the Republic of India in various fields.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Deepak Mittal expressed his pride in representing his country in the UAE, praising the leading regional and international position that the country enjoys under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”
The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of India have distinguished relations in many areas of common interest, and the two sides seek to strengthen this partnership in a way that serves common interests and achieves sustainable development for the two friendly countries and peoples.
