Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority participates in the World Travel Market 2025 in London

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority participates in the World Travel Market 2025, which is held in the British capital, London, from November 4 to 6, 2025. The exhibition is one of the most prominent international forums specialized in the tourism and travel sector, as it annually attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation comes through a national pavilion that embodies the strategic partnership in the tourism sector between the public and private sectors, with the participation of 14 exhibitors, including Gulf Air, the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, and a number of hotels, resorts and tourist destination management companies.

On this occasion, Sarah Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in this global event comes as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s presence on the international tourism map, promote the tourism components and advanced infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and expand its network of relationships with major companies and actors in the travel and tourism sector, in order to achieve the goals of the Tourism Strategy 2022-2026.

Buhiji added: “We are proud of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in this prestigious international forum, as the exhibition constitutes an ideal platform to highlight the promising investment opportunities in the Bahraini tourism sector, and to promote major projects that support the path of sustainable growth, especially since the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pavilion constitutes a cultural interface that reflects the nobility of the Kingdom’s heritage, the diversity of its culture, and the development of its tourism system. The pavilion also highlights the extent of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s readiness to organize and host major international events.”

The Bahrain Pavilion is witnessing a wide turnout from visitors and representatives of international travel companies and tourist destination management companies, as the Authority and its team organize a series of bilateral meetings with the most prominent global sector partners, including air carriers, international hotel chains, and organizers of exhibitions and conferences, as part of the Authority’s efforts to promote business tourism and host major conferences and events.

The Bahraini pavilion reviews the latest projects and strategic initiatives being implemented within the tourism sector strategy 2022-2026, which aims to increase the sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product and diversify the tourism product.

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in this exhibition embodies its firm commitment to continuing to implement its ambitious vision aimed at achieving sustainable tourism development and enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness on the global stage, in support of the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

It is noteworthy that this year’s edition of the World Travel Market exhibition is held under the slogan “Reimagining the travel sector in a changing world”, and in addition to the pavilions of the participating parties, the exhibition’s agenda includes important discussion sessions focusing on a number of main themes, which include: sustainability, technology, diversity, ease of access, inclusion, marketing, and the global economic landscape, in addition to future travel trends.
