Sultan Al Qasimi: We ensure the comfort of Sharjah residents and modernize its old areas

Sharjah, 4 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, stressed the keenness of the Emirate of Sharjah to provide all means of comfort to all its residents. His Highness revealed that the Sharjah City Municipality is charged with modernizing all the old areas in the city, paving its roads, developing its sewage networks, planting trees, and establishing gardens for families. Monitoring, arranging and organizing abandoned properties and houses, and renewing shop signs to develop and improve these areas.
His Highness explained that the Sharjah Municipality is now working to develop the Al-Qadisiyah area, followed by Al-Jazzat, after completing the modernization of the Al-Ghuwair area, Al-Istiqlal Square in the Yarmouk area, and the Imam Al-Nawawi Mosque.
His Highness said during a telephone interview on the Direct Line program: We are constantly updating the streets because they are affected by the factors of time and rain, and we are installing rainwater drainage networks so that they do not harm the land and buildings. We have addressed the problem of water accumulation due to the low ground in Martyrs’ Square and its high rise in the University City. The municipality is now working on modernizing the Al-Qadisiyah area, which includes many abandoned houses that are uninhabitable. God willing, the area will be modernized, roads paved and planted, and gardens will be established for families to develop and improve the area. Al-Jazzat area. These are all efforts being made to provide all means of comfort to the residents of the emirate, and we reassure all residents of the Emirate of Sharjah that they will always enjoy safe and quiet housing in Sharjah, God willing.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah concluded his speech, saying: We tell people to plant trees in your homes and sit under the trees. We provide people with trees for free, and all municipalities take from the nurseries I have in Badi Palace. We produce 5 million serums, and the serum is a biostimulant that improves the planting process and is quickly absorbed and transported into the plants. We give municipalities large trees ready to be planted directly in the ground, and among the beautiful trees we have is the “beach hibiscus tree,” which is lush. They are shaded and beautiful to look at, and we planted them near the mosques in the city of Kalba. Trees are very important, because they absorb toxic carbon dioxide gas, provide us with oxygen to breathe, and take shade in their shade. They secrete positive electrons that make us feel psychologically comfortable and make a person calm, polite, and well-mannered. Sitting under trees eliminates the need for modern electrical appliances that emit positive electrons, and eating vegetables and fish makes a person feel calm, unlike meat, which makes a person feel calm. “Tough in nature, we recommend that people plant trees and eat vegetables and fish, and we wish everyone a peaceful life.”
