Muslim denies demonstrating in the Musicians Syndicate
Mahraganat singer Muslim denied holding a protest at the Syndicate of Musical Professions to protest the decision to prevent him from practicing the profession since last March.
Muslim said in a phone call on the Last Word program with journalist Ahmed Salem on ON channel: “There was no protest, all these words are lies and rumours. In the days of liberation, I will go to protest at Syndicate? Why? What do I need to do this? I am not an ignorant person, I am educated, and this action does not come from me.”
Muslim added: “Today I had a problem with a large audio production company. I resolved the problem with them and got a contract. What I know is that if I get the contract and the problem is resolved, I will go back to work. Today I was going to the union to dissolve and come back, and a journalist spoke to me and told me that I will come with you so that if I come back, people will know that you are I came back, and I told him as long as all the people knew that I was arrested, and I said if they had brought me back today, and I had trust in God, I would have said that I had returned.”
He continued: There was only a quarter of my band, about six or seven, waiting for me to solve the problem all at once. They found a lot of press, including 15 journalists, but I was leaving in good faith, and someone from the band spoke to me and told me to come back. They arrested me. The whole group is disfigured.”
As for the reason for what the union said about banning him because he violated his agreements with contractors and companies, he said: “There are people who hate me a lot in the field because I do not give them what they want and I do not agree with them, and I was a young man who wanted to succeed. I went with a contract producer and said he would show me and show me, but I was a minor, and disagreements happened after that, and this is the only company I have a problem with,” he explained: "I only stayed with a producer, and when I broke up with him, I went to a company".
