"Athletics" Announces the participation of 6 players in "Islamic Solidarity Course"

Dubai, 5 November / WAM / The UAE Athletics Federation announced the approval of the participation of 6 athletes in the Islamic Solidarity Games “Riyadh 2025”, which is being hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 7 to 21 November this year.

The Federation confirmed in a statement today that the list includes Emmanuel Bamidele, Maryam Karim, Suleiman Abdul Rahman, Aminat Qamar Al-Din, Moaz Fawzi, and Abdul Quddus Ahmed Ali.

Governor Falah, head of the Federation’s Public Relations and Corporate Communications Committee, said that the team is looking forward to a new achievement, after winning 6 medals in the third Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, represented by gold in the 100 and 400 meter races for young women, and a relay gold, in addition to silver for the 200 and 400 meters, and a bronze in the “hammer throw,” and before that, also winning 6 medals in the Arab Championship for junior men and women in Tunisia.

She explained that the team is taking on the new challenge with the best levels of readiness after gradual stages of preparation with the relevant technical bodies, praising the efforts of various clubs and institutions in providing appropriate conditions for male and female players to implement various training programs and participate in tournaments.
