Kazakhstan takes first place in the second UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams competition

Dubai, 8 February / WAM / The Kazakhstan “C” team won first place in the “Hostage Rescue” challenge, the second of the UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams “SWAT 2026”, currently held at the training city in Al Ruwayyah in Dubai, after collecting 109 points.

The Dubai Police “A” team came in second place with 108 points, while the China “B” team came in third with 107 points.

Major General His Excellency Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs at Dubai Police, crowned the winning teams in the first three places, Kazakhstan “C”, Dubai Police “A”, and China “B”, in the presence of Abdullah bin Khadiya, CEO of Contour Media, Omar Matar Al Mannai, CEO of Emirates Auctions, and a number of Dubai Police officers.

Major General Al Mazrouei praised the high technical level presented by the teams participating in the second day’s competitions, stressing that the “Hostage Rescue” challenge is one of the most demanding challenges in terms of accuracy and readiness, as it includes carrying out precise shooting from the top of the tower, followed by storming the building and hitting specific targets, before removing the hostage, represented by a heavy-weight doll, according to the highest tactical standards.
