Prince Faisal bin Bandar praised the advanced levels that the Princess Seetah Award has achieved in serving social work through clear institutional work, stressing that the Kingdom supports organized and institutional social work. He praised the efforts of those in charge of the Princess Seetah Award and the service they provide for social work in the Kingdom, expressing his happiness and pride in the quality of social and humanitarian work enjoyed by Interest at the level of institutions and individuals in the Kingdom. He said: "The award is no longer just an annual event, but rather a sublime message in the service of society, embodying the precision of selection and attention to precise annual topics that are in line with the needs of the dear nation and achieve the goals of its lofty vision." He stressed the award’s keenness for its topics to be a realistic reflection of the challenges facing society, and to reach all its segments through its various programs and initiatives, thanks to the constructive integration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and the distinguished alignment with the National Center for the Non-Profit Sector, which confirms that social work requires concerted efforts and everyone’s cooperation to serve the nation and the citizen. He pointed out that the award witnessed a remarkable growth in the number of winners, as it increased. The number ranged from (133) winners to (143) winners, distributed across various regions and governorates of the Kingdom, and (6,727) beneficiaries benefited from it, within six branches covering pivotal topics: national achievement, Islamic endowment, social responsibility, individuals, social responsibility and environmental sustainability, which contributes to achieving the indicators of the year 2023. He pointed out that the Endowment does not work with individual effort, but rather a collective work system that began with clear directives from the Board of Supervisors, the sons and daughters of Princess Seetah, who took responsibility for the continuation of their mother’s goodness, drew the road map, determined the destination, and affirmed that the Endowment It must be managed according to the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance. He stated that this collective work transferred the endowment from the stage of traditional effort to the stage of organized institutional work, and this was reflected in the quality of performance, clarity of procedures, increased impact, improved income and spending, and sustainability of giving, pointing out that the endowment has become a pioneering national model in endowment work, and a living example that governance does not restrict giving, but rather maximizes its impact, and that teamwork is the true path. After that, His Highness the Emir of the Riyadh Region honored the winners of the thirteenth session of the award, where in the Excellence in National Achievement branch (for government agencies) it won equally with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) and the General Administration of Education in the Qassim Region, while in the Excellence Branch in the Islamic Endowment (for endowment bodies) it was jointly won with the Endowment for the Glorification of the Two Revelationes in Medina and the Islamic University in Medina. As for the excellence branch in social work programs (for non-profit entities), it was shared equally between the Association of Neighborhood Centers in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region and the Association for Pilgrimage and Umrah Services in the Al-Jawf region, and in the excellence branch for social work pioneers (for individuals), Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Othaim won. As for the social responsibility branch (for companies), the award was given to Sahara International Petrochemical Company.
