"Hisn Sharjah" Celebrates the poetic and cultural legacy of Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr
Sharjah, 5 November / WAM / The Sharjah Museums Authority organized a dialogue session at Sharjah Fort entitled: “When the Fort Reveals… the Poetry of Sultan,” as part of the activities of the ninth session of the “Fort in Memory” program.
The session provided attendees with a distinctive experience that reflects the power of poetry and the spirit of leadership in the personality of Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi II.
The session shed light on the poetic and cultural dimension of Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi II, reviewing his literary career and his status as a poet in addition to his leadership roles.
It also addressed the continuation of this literary legacy to this day, thanks to the continued support and care of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for culture, literature and poetry.
The session was hosted by Mohammed Al-Buraiki, Director of the Sharjah Poetry House and Director of the Sharjah Arab Poetry Festival, and Noura Ahmed Al-Mughni, Curator of the Sharjah Heritage Museum.
