Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 witnesses new food partnerships and innovations

Dubai, 5 November / WAM / The second day of the Gulfood Manufacturing Exhibition 2025 witnessed the conclusion of strategic partnerships and the launch of new global products, with wide participation from the most prominent companies specialized in food and beverage technology around the world, which strengthens the exhibition’s position as a major platform for industry giants and innovation pioneers.

Participants stressed that digital transformation and artificial intelligence constitute essential pillars for the future of food manufacturing, with the sector expected to grow at a compound annual rate of up to 45% until 2027, while about 75% of producers are now giving priority to sustainability at the expense of cost and traditional compliance.

The exhibition witnessed the launch of new solutions from international companies such as Tetra Pak, Arla Foods Ingredients, Cargill, Heat & Control, Givaudan, Ishida Middle East and SIG, and Japan, Korea and Russia also participated for the first time.

Tetra Pak announced its new Tetra Pak® Factory OS™ system for automation and digital transformation of smart factories, while Heat & Control launched the FastBack® Symphony OMS system to manage the addition of flavors more efficiently and support sustainable production.

Sig also unveiled a partnership to produce an innovative protein drink with a focus on food safety and promoting the circular economy.

The exhibition included a food technology summit that discussed the role of artificial intelligence and digital twinning in improving efficiency and productivity, while experts stressed that digital innovations will transform food supply chains and enhance sustainable manufacturing.

The exhibition also witnessed the distribution of the Gulfood Manufacturing Awards to honor the most prominent innovations in artificial intelligence, food safety, packaging and processing, plant-based ingredients and renewable energy, and Tetra Pak won the “Sustainable Company of the Year” award.

The exhibition, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, concludes tomorrow.
