The eighth session of the China International Import Expo kicks off in Shanghai
Shanghai, November 5 / WAM / The activities of the eighth session of the China International Import Expo kicked off today in Shanghai, in the presence of His Excellency Li Qiang, Premier of the Chinese State Council, who delivered a keynote speech during the opening ceremony.
In its current edition, the exhibition sets a new record in terms of size, with the participation of 155 countries, regions and international organizations, and the presence of more than 4,100 foreign companies, including 290 companies listed on the Fortune Global 500 list, while the United Arab Emirates is the guest of honor at the current session.
The China Media Group reported that the exhibition witnesses the launch of 461 new products, technologies and services, highlighting a range of future industries, including the low-altitude aviation economy, humanoid robots, and low-carbon green innovations.
The exhibition will continue until next Monday.
