The Oran International Arab Film Festival celebrates the artist Monther Rayhana with an exceptional honoring ceremony

The Algerian city of Oran witnessed a special night during the activities of the 13th session of the Oran International Arab Film Festival, where the Jordanian artist Munther Rayahneh was honored for all of his distinguished artistic works that left a strong imprint in Arab drama, whether historical, social or Bedouin.

 

This honor is the first for the artist Munther Rayahneh in Algeria, as well as his first official visit to the country of one and a half million martyrs. He received a wide welcome from the Algerian public, who expressed their love and appreciation for his works and artistic career.

During the honoring ceremony, Rayahneh received his honorary shield from the Algerian Minister of Culture, Dr. Malika Bendouda, in an atmosphere filled with feelings and appreciation.

In his touching speech after the honor, the artist Munther Rayahneh said: "When you are aware of the magnitude of this honor, She is unable to express herself in words, so she resorts to artificial intelligence, which in turn is unable to describe this feeling. She finds no refuge except in the history of this great country… and when we read about the history of Algeria, we stand tall."

The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of a number of stars from the Arab world alongside Rayahna, including the late artist Yasser al-Masry and Sayed Ahmed Aqmi, in appreciation of their contributions and their career in the world of art.

It is noteworthy that the artist Munther Rayahna enjoys a fan following. Great in Algeria, where the audience followed him through his distinguished historical works that established his name as one of the most prominent stars of Arab drama.
