Emirati entrepreneurs conclude a visit to Beijing to learn about digital innovation and financing mechanisms

Abu Dhabi, 7 November / WAM / A delegation of Emirati women entrepreneurs concluded their visit to the Chinese capital, Beijing, which aimed to enhance their capabilities and expand their horizons in global markets.
This visit comes within the program “Emirati Women Entrepreneurs: Exploring the Business Environment in China,” held within the framework of the “Emirati Women Entrepreneurship Councils in Friendly Countries” initiative, launched by the General Women’s Union under the generous patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
During the visit, the delegation held extensive meetings with the Women’s Venture Capital Alliance in Beijing, where the pioneers learned about the latest financing methods and support strategies directed at women’s projects, and were exposed to innovative models of emerging companies in the field of digital technology.
The program also included visits to leading companies such as ByteDance and JD Group, where participants listened to presentations on the latest digital innovations and smart commerce tools. The visit also included discussion sessions on developing small and medium enterprises and promoting the digital transformation of women’s businesses.
The delegation stressed that the visit contributed to the transfer of practical expertise and successful experiences, and opened the way for Emirati women entrepreneurs to apply best practices in their own projects, thus enhancing the competitiveness of Emirati products and services in global markets.
