The inauguration of volunteer opportunities comes within the framework of enhancing environmental protection, supporting afforestation, and contributing to reducing carbon emissions, as part of sustainable efforts that make a tangible impact within the Green Saudi Initiative.

Al-Zari explained during the volunteer opportunities inauguration ceremony that the administration is proud of its participation in implementing the afforestation work plan in a number of neighborhoods in the city of Riyadh and its schools and facilities.
He indicated that the number of self- and participatory activities implemented in schools contributing to achieving the goals of Green Riyadh reached more than 3,400 activities.
